I. General provisions

1. These rules are developed in compliance of articles 6 and 13 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the competition and restriction of monopolistic activities in the goods markets", for the purpose of implementation of the state control of observance of the antitrust law.

2. Rules determine procedure for conducting checks, the rights and obligations of officials of the authorized body performing the antimonopoly policy (further - authorized body) and public authorities, local executive bodies of the government, self-government institutions of the settlement and village, and authorized organizations of these bodies (further - bodies).

H. The purpose of checks is protection of the rights and legitimate interests of business entities and citizens, ensuring compliance with conditions and requirements of the antitrust law, the prevention and suppression of offenses in activities of bodies, in particular:

- prohibition of the adopted acts or making of actions which limit independence of business entities;

- creations discriminating or opposite to favorable conditions for activities of certain business entities;

- non-admission, elimination and restriction of the competition;
