About measures for deepening of demonopolization and privatization in fish industry

For the purpose of deepening of processes of privatization and development of private property in fish industry, the Cabinet of Ministers decides implementations of the market principles and mechanisms in the organization of activities of the fishing and fish companies, further demonopolization of industry and forming of competitive environment, and also streamlining of catch and realization of fish and fish products:

1. Agree with offers of the Special commission on check of the organization and activities of the Uzbalik Joint-stock company formed by the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of March 18, 2003 NR-1728:

about liquidation of Uzbalik joint-stock company and Karakalpakbalik association;

about complete privatization and transformation it is preferential in private property of the fish and fishing companies of fish industry which are part of the liquidated Uzbalik company.

2. Take into consideration that in structure of central office of the Ministry of agricultural and water economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan the Head department of development of livestock production, poultry farming and fish breeding is formed, and in regional managements rural and water developments of livestock production of hozyaystvaotdela, poultry farming and fish breeding to which functions on development of fishery are assigned.

3. The special commission on check of the organization and activities of the Uzbalik company together with the State Property Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the interested ministries and departments to provide carrying out in accordance with the established procedure to liquidation of JSC Uzbalik in a month, having provided realization in the exchange and off-exchange markets to mainly physical persons and foreign investors of the state shares and blocks of shares in authorized capitals of the privatized companies of fish industry according to the appendix N1.
