Rules of sports and amateur fishing and production of other water organisms in reservoirs of the Republic of Moldova

Art. 1. Sports and amateur fishing, production of other water organisms for private consumption is allowed to physical persons for a fee in all fishery reservoirs, except for reserves, fish nurseries, pond fisheries, with observance of statutory rules of fishery and water use.

In a number of reservoirs and on the sites determined by Service of fish conservation, fishing is allowed only to members of societies of fishers based on the relevant agreement signed between societies and Service of fish conservation.

Art. 2. Protection of fish resources and other water organisms, regulation of their trade, implementation of measures for reproduction of fish inventories, issue of permissions to the fishing right, and also the state control of observance of these rules is exercised by Service of fish conservation.

Art. 3. Catch of fish and other water organisms from fishery reservoirs is performed only according to the subscriptions issued to physical persons and legal entities by Service of fish conservation for a fee.

In case of systematic failure to carry out of terms of the contract about work of fishers by society on the organization of sports and amateur fishery and work on protection and reproduction of fish inventories on reservoirs the signed agreements can be cancelled by Service of fish conservation.

In case of violation by amateur fishers of requirements of the Regulations on protection of fish inventories and these rules paid subscriptions are cancelled, and violators are brought to the administrative responsibility.

Art. 4. Fishing sport competitions are held according to the procedure, established republican and district societies of fishers, other volunteer sports societies. Places and terms of competitions are coordinated with Service of fish conservation.

Art. 5. The societies of fishers which signed the relevant agreements with Service of fish conservation shall:
