About the Main directions and the principles of interaction of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of providing energy efficiency and energy saving
The economic council of the Commonwealth of Independent States solved:
1. Approve the Main directions and the principles of interaction of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of providing energy efficiency and energy saving (are applied), developed by the Center of energy policy of the Russian Federation together with Executive committee of the CIS in case of financial support of Committee on steady power of UNECE and considered by the Commission on economic problems.
2. Ask the governments of the State Parties of the CIS to assist national authorities of management and operators of the energy sector of economy in implementation of the specified document.
3. Recommend to the interested ministries and departments of the State Parties of the CIS to use provisions of this document in case of development and implementation of national programs for energy efficiency and energy saving, implementation of normative legal, organizational, technical and financial actions of energy saving policy of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
4. To executive committee of the CIS to perform coordination on realization of the Main directions and the principles of interaction of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the field of providing energy efficiency and energy saving.
5. This decision is temporarily applied from the date of signing and becomes effective from the date of delivery on storage to depositary of the third notification on accomplishment by the states of the interstate procedures necessary for its entry into force which signed it.
For the states which performed interstate procedures later this decision becomes effective in day of receipt of the relevant documents by depositary.
