The State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus (further the State Control Committee) is the body exercising the state control of execution of the republican budget, use of state-owned property, execution of the laws, acts of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Parliament of the Republic of Belarus, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and other state bodies governing the relations of state-owned property, the economic, financial and tax relations.
The State Control Committee is formed by the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The State Control Committee and its territorial authorities are legal entities, have seals with the image of the State Emblem of the Republic of Belarus and with the name.
The State Control Committee and its territorial authorities within the competence exercise the state control for:
1) execution of the republican budget, compliance with law in the field of the financial and tax relations in system of local budgets and the state trust budget and off-budget funds;
