About sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of the population
This Law establishes legal and organizational basis of prevention of adverse effect on human body of factors of the circle of its dwelling for the purpose of ensuring sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of the population.
For the purposes of this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:
the state hygienic registration - system of accounting and the admission to application, realization for the first time the substances made in the Republic of Belarus and purchased on import, materials and products on their safety for health of the person;
the state hygienic regulation - determination of procedure and scope of substances, materials and products for the purpose of prevention of their adverse effect on health of the person during implementation of the state hygienic registration;
the state sanitary and hygienic examination - activities of the authorized state bodies and organizations exercising the state sanitary inspection (further - the bodies and organizations exercising the state sanitary inspection), on establishment of compliance (discrepancy) of the project documentation, factors of the habitat of the person, objects of economic and other activity, products, works and services to requirements of the sanitary and epidemiologic legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
the state sanitary inspection - the activities of the bodies and organizations exercising the state sanitary inspection, directed to prevention of diseases by the prevention, detection and suppression of violations of the sanitary and epidemiologic legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
immunoprevention of infectious diseases - system of the actions directed to the prevention, decrease and liquidation of infectious diseases by carrying out preventive inoculations;
