Some questions of food security
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:
1. Approve the Technique of determination of the main indicators of food security which is applied.
2. To the Ministry of Health to determine each five years the recommended rational regulations of consumption of main products on average as like as two peas.
3. To provide to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food, the Ministry of social policy and Public service of statistics within the powers representation to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade annually till July 31 of information necessary for calculation of the main indicators of food security.
4. To the Ministry of economic development and trade to prepare and promulgate annually till September 1 of the next period the status report of food security of Ukraine.

1. This Technique is developed for the purpose of determination of the main indicators of food security.
2. Indicators which characterize condition of food security of the state (region) are calculated on such primary groups of foodstuff: bread and bakery products; potatoes; vegetables, melon; fruit, berries and grapes; sugar; oil; meat and meat products; milk and molokoprodukta; fish and fish products; eggs.
3. Indicators of food security are:
1) the daily energy value of diet of the person which is determined as the amount of works of unit of mass of separate types of the products consumed by the person for days and their energy value by formula
