1. Enter since July 1, 1996 the state obligatory civil liability insurance for damnification of life and to health to citizens or material damage in use of vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. And to health to citizens or material damage the owners of the vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms participating in traffic in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, belonging to legal entities and physical persons are subject to civil responsibility insurance for damnification of life.
Vehicles of the companies, organizations and organizations of the Ministry of safety of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Tajikistan and other paramilitary organizations deployed in the Republic of Tajikistan are subject to insurance in accordance with general practice, except for the civil responsibility of owners for damnification of life and to health to citizens or material damage in use of vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms which are not subject to registration in bodies of the State automobile inspectorate.
2. For damnification of life and to health to citizens or material damage in use of vehicles for owners of vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms to determine insurance sum by civil responsibility insurance in the amount of hundred fifty indicators for calculations and for owners of vehicles and other self-propelled machines and mechanisms of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the amount of forty four thousand four hundred ninety six somoni.
