Ukraine has 14 operating blocks of the nuclear power plants (NPP) which reprezentut one of the greatest nuclear and energy programs in Europe (the fifth place after France, Great Britain, Russia and Germany). In Ukraine five companies for production and conversion of radioactive ore function. About five thousand institutions and the companies use sources of ionizing radiation, more than 2600 companies use nearly 105000 radio isotope devices. Besides, there is problem of the treatment of radioactive waste (RAV) and their burials.
Thus in front of Ukraine rises urgent to zadachaobespechit safety of use of nuclear energy, radiation dangerous technologies and substances in case of any options of development or curtailment of the nuclear energy program.
Special problem is that today in Ukraine use of nuclear energy, radiation dangerous technologies and substances is performed, first, in the conditions of the insufficient legislation, and secondly, in the presence of imperfect government and economic institutions.
It is necessary to emphasize that creation of the corresponding organizational structure of use of nuclear energy, radiation dangerous technologies and substances is premises of the solution of all complex of problems of safety of nuclear industry.
