The state committee on standardization of the Republic of Belarus and the State standardization Agency, metrology and patents of the Azerbaijan Republic which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties
considering mutual interest in development of scientific and technical interaction in the field of standardization, metrology, assessments of conformity and accreditations,
being guided by interests of both Parties for the purpose of elimination of technical barriers in economic and trade relations,
agreed as follows:
The parties during implementation of this agreement will be guided by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic.
Action of this agreement extends to the following spheres of activity:
standardization;
metrology;
assessment of conformity;
accreditation.
The parties will interact in different International Organizations for Standardization, metrology, on assessment of conformity and accreditation, giving mutual support in participation or the accession to those international organizations which member is one of the Parties.
The parties exchange work programs on standardization and technical regulation, and also other national specifications and technical documentation on standardization.
Interchange by standards and other regulating documentation on standardization is performed by the Parties on the basis of the approved lists.
The parties will aim at harmonization of national systems of confirmation of conformity of products (services, works) on the basis of the international recommendations for the purpose of creation of conditions for their mutual recognition.
