being guided by desire to develop the Belarusian-Azerbaijani bonds, to expand mutual trade in live animals, the animal products following from the territories or through the territories of the states of the Parties

aiming to prevent penetration of infectious diseases of animal and dangerous products in the territory of the states for the purpose of health protection of people and animals,

proceeding from interests of deepening of bilateral cooperation in the field of veterinary science,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The competent authorities of the Parties performing coordination of sales activity of this agreement are:

from the Republic of Belarus - Head department of veterinary science with State veterinary and State food inspections of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus;

from the Azerbaijan Republic - the Public Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Article 2

1. In this agreement it is necessary to understand as "animals":

one-hoofed animals (horses, donkeys, mules and others);

artiodactyl house and wild (cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, camels and others);

rodents house and wild (hares and rabbits, rats, guinea pigs and others);

poultry (hens, turkeys, geese, ducks, guinea fowls and others);

decorative birds (pheasants, partridges, forest roosters and others);

exotic birds and animals (parrots, monkeys and others);

circus animals;

bees;

fishes, mollusks, cancroid and other invertebrates, turtles, frogs, silkworms.

2. In this agreement it is necessary to understand as "animal products":

raw materials of animal origin in a raw state;

materials for reproduction of animals (sperm, ova, zygotes and embryos, the impregnated caviar);

the foodstuff of animal origin, offal and finished livestock goods used in food;
