being guided by provisions of the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine of July 6, 2001, Agreements between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine about the basic principles and the directions of economic cooperation of July 6, 2001, the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on free trade of July 6, 2001,
proceeding from intentions and further to strengthen and develop equal and mutually advantageous trade and economic relations,
considering that long-term and full economic cooperation and effective use of economic capacity of two states promotes growth in prosperity of their people,
highly appreciating the created potential of trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine rendering assistance to strengthening of their economic prosperity and safety
in view of that expansion of interstate cooperation is of great importance for development of economy of both states, agreed as follows:
High contracting parties express readiness to perform long-term economic cooperation on the basis of equality, mutual advantage and fair accomplishment of the undertaken obligations. Such cooperation will be performed on the basis of the Interstate program of long-term economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Ukraine for 2003-2012 (further "Program") which is integral part of this Agreement.
High contracting parties will create the joint mechanism of control of the course of accomplishment of the Program.
Economic cooperation of High contracting parties is performed by interaction between subjects of foreign economic activity, irrespective of patterns of ownership and according to international legal and interstate regulations.
