State Customs Committee of Ukraine and State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic, further Contracting Parties,

for the purpose of simplification of customs formalities in transit of goods agreed as follows:

Article 1

Contracting parties help that vehicles, the loads, baggage, post sendings, currency, other means of payment following through border were provided with the relevant documents answering to customs and currency rules of the participating states of this agreement and which are applied in cargo, passenger and post exchange.

Article 2

Contracting parties will mutually recognize customs papers, customs seals, prints of seals and stamps and official signs on vehicles, loads and post sendings. They can also mutually recognize seals and seals of expeditionary and transport organizations and official signs on vehicles.

Article 3

Contracting parties will exchange samples of the customs papers and customs providing mentioned in Article 2, and also inventories, import, export or transit of which through their territory is limited or prohibited.

Article 4

Contracting parties will timely notify each other on changes and amendments to the customs legislation, rules, official orders and forms of customs papers and providing.

Article 5

Movement of goods and vehicles between customs of Contracting Parties will be performed using the Cargo customs declaration (further GTD).

Article 6

All matters of argument connected with accomplishment and interpretation of provisions of this agreement are solved by consultations and approvals between Contracting Parties.

Article 7

Customs papers are carried out in language, stipulated by the legislation the states of sending for creation of customs papers.
