Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, further Contracting Parties,

wishing to develop and expand the cooperation relations in financial, tax, cash and other economic spheres that conforms to requirements and practice of the international market,

aiming to integrate gradually economies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine into world financial communications,

for the purpose of assistance to the international currency cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine,

considering the deep changes happening in economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine and proceeding from mutual interest in effective solution of objectives

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Contracting parties will promote deepening of cooperation, carrying out permanent consultations and experience exchange concerning financial credit relations, in particular:

- enhancement of organizational structure of financial and tax authorities in the conditions of economic independence and transition to the market relations;

- upgrades of process of forming and budget implementation;

- basic principles and approaches to forming of effective system of taxes, payments and charges (direct and indirect taxes);

- creations of necessary databank for ensuring effective control behind completeness of tax payment and charges;

- the principles and approaches to use of foreign investments in structural adjustment of economy;

- forming of the effective mechanism of social protection of the population and sources of its financing in the conditions of market economy;

- applications of provisions of the legislation governing the currency relations in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Ukraine, financial provision of foreign policy activities and implementation at the same time of non-commercial payments;

- economic levers of salary adjustment and prices;

- enhancement of the regulatory legal base on regulation of the market of government securities.
