being guided by the principles of sovereignty, equality, non-interference to internal affairs fixed in Articles of organization of the United Nations

proceeding from understanding of importance for each of two Parties of carrying out at the different levels of exchange of opinions and consultations on the bilateral relations, regional and international issues which are of mutual interest

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and other levels will regularly hold negotiations and consultations on the international, regional and bilateral issues which are of mutual interest.

For consideration of questions of the special importance by mutual consent of the Parties working and expert ad hoc of group can be created.

Article 2

The parties, attaching them priority significance, will hold consultations on the following questions:

a) development of the bilateral political relations;

b) the international and regional issues which are of mutual interest;

c) exchange of information about course of execution of bilateral documents.

Article 3

Ministers of Foreign Affairs or their representatives and experts of the Parties will annually hold meetings and, in case of need, on the basis of priority will carry out in Minsk and Baku consultations on the international, regional and bilateral issues which are of mutual interest.

Article 4

The parties will cooperate and hold consultations with the purpose of coordination of the line items within the international organizations and forums.

The parties will cooperate among themselves by means of the diplomatic and consular missions accredited in the third states.
