The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic which further are referred to as the Party

considering interest of both Parties in development and strengthening of contacts in the field of justice,

for the purpose of further strengthening of mutual understanding and friendship, agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform mutual cooperation within the powers, according to this agreement and observing the legislation of the states.

Article 2

The parties will cooperate in the following main directions:

1) establishment of partner bonds between organizations of justice of both states;

2) regular exchange of legal and other regulatory legal acts, and also departmental editions and methodical materials;

3) the organization of maintaining registers and registration of regulatory legal acts in organizations of justice;

4) development of legal information systems;

5) exchange of information concerning activities of the Parties;

6) advanced training of personnel for organizations of justice;

7) research activities for the questions which are of mutual interest;

8) exchange of delegations of the Parties for acquaintance with the organization and activities of organizations of justice of both states;

9) the organization and carrying out on the basis of reciprocity of seminars, lectures, practical training and other similar actions for increase in professional level and training of workers of justice;

10) rendering assistance in information support of project development of the laws and other regulatory legal acts.

Article 3

This agreement does not interfere with the Parties in determination and development of other mutually acceptable directions and forms of cooperation.

Article 4

The parties can also sign other agreements promoting development of cooperation between them in the field of justice.
