Rules of development and approval of standard rates of maximum permissible emissions of greenhouse gases and consumption of ozone-depleting substances (further - Rules) are developed according to the Ecological code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and determine procedure for development and approval of standard rates of maximum permissible emissions of greenhouse gases and consumption of ozone-depleting substances.
Regulation of emissions of greenhouse gases will be applied after ratification of the Kyoto protocol by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
