The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Armenia which further are referred to as with the Parties

in view of importance of development of geodesy, cartography and land cadastre for social and economic development of the countries,

being guided by the principles containing in the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia signed on May 26, 2001 in Yerevan

wishing to create the legal basis for cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth, creation and maintaining land cadastre that will promote use of results of such cooperation for economic and social benefit of the states of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

On the basis of this agreement of the Party agree to perform cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth and management of land resources.

The cooperation provided by this agreement will be performed in the following directions:

exchange of scientific and technical and production information;

implementation of joint research, experimental and production operations;

carrying out the joint space shootings necessary for both Parties, and data exchange of remote sensing of Earth;

preparation and advanced training of personnel for performance of works on geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth, creation and maintaining land cadastre;

the publication in mass media of the data which are of mutual interest concerning geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth, creation and maintaining land cadastre;

exchange on the basis of bilateral agreements initial geodetic, cartographic materials and materials of space shootings on territorial accessory, except for the materials which are the state secret of the states of the Parties;
