1. Approve "Provision on the honourable diploma of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic" it (is applied).
2. Charge to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Azerbaijan Republic to prepare and submit within one month for approval of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic sample of the honourable diploma of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic.
3. Charge to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic to resolve the issues following from this Decree.
4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of signing.

1. The honourable diploma of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic (the daleepochetny diploma) is founded by the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic of October 17, 2007 No. 639.
2. The honourable diploma is issued by the President of the Azerbaijan Republic to citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic, foreigners and stateless persons, and also collectives for the purpose of assessment of their work for receipt of high achievements in the Azerbaijan Republic in the field of culture, art, literature, science, education, health care, journalism, physical culture and sport, the legal, social and political, economic, international relations and other spheres.
3. The honourable diploma is not issued to repeatedly same persons (collectives) for receipt of the same high achievements in one of spheres, stipulated in Item 2 this provision.
