About approval of Rules of technical operation of vehicles

According to article 12 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 4, 2003 "About road transport" the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Approve the enclosed Rules of technical operation of vehicles.

2. To the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan to take necessary measures for implementation of this resolution.

3. This resolution becomes effective after three months from the date of its official publication.

Rules of technical operation of vehicles

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. These rules of technical operation of vehicles (further - Rules) establish procedure for carrying out complex of the actions, technical impacts (diagnosing, maintenance, repair) directed to the organization and ensuring safe operation of vehicles.

2. Provisions of Rules extend on the physical persons and legal entity performing operation of vehicles in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. In these rules the following basic concepts are used:

1) serviceable condition - the technical condition conforming to all requirements of regulations and design documentation shown to design, parameters, functional purpose and properties of aggregates, nodes and details of vehicles;
