About reform of the prices of livestock products
For the purpose of deepening of the market relations in agricultural industry and production incentive of livestock products I decide:
1. Cancel the state order on production and procurement of the cattle, bird and milk.
2. Determine that since January 1, 1997 realization of the livestock products made in public sector of agricultural industry is performed at freely created prices taking into account profitability and costs for its production.
3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to establish to livestock farms task on procurement of meat and milk on fixed prices in the amounts necessary for needs of the public institutions financed by the budget according to the approved list.
4. Recognize invalid resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan of August 2, 1996 as No. 2752 "About the state purchase prices on agricultural products" and of September 30, 1996 No. 2801 "About the change in price and rates for some types of products, goods and services in Turkmenistan" regarding meat price and milk.
