1. The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine (Ministry of Finance) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Finance is principal organ in system of the central executive bodies on ensuring realization of single state financial, budget, tax, customs policy, policy in the field of the state internal financial control, release and carrying out lotteries, development and production of holographic protective elements.
2. The Ministry of Finance in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, and also the presidential decrees of Ukraine and resolutions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted according to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and this Provision.
The Ministry of Finance organizes accomplishment of acts of the legislation in limits of the powers and exercises systematic control of their realization, generalizes practice of application of the legislation on questions which are within its competence, develops offers concerning enhancement of the legislation and submits them in accordance with the established procedure for consideration of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
