The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties
in view of aspiration to development and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex in the conditions of the market relations,
aiming to encourage cooperation between the business entities of agro-industrial complex located in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan
agreed as follows;
The parties will perform mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex according to the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and also to promote development and deepening of contacts between business entities of both states, irrespective of their patterns of ownership and subordination.
The cooperation of the Parties will be performed in the following spheres:
- exchange of information concerning crop production and livestock production, at the same time the Parties will pay special attention to questions of seed farming and breeding case;
- experience exchange of implementation of market economy, new forms of managing, organization of farms and determination of efficiency of their activities;
- consultations in implementation of reforms and restructuring in the field of agro-industrial complex;
- trading activity agricultural products and products of its conversion.
Other directions of cooperation can be included according to the mutual arrangement of the Parties.
The parties will assist development of cooperation between business entities of the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan in establishment of direct connections.
Article 4
The cooperation within this agreement will be implemented by way:
- exchange of scientific and technical and economic information, results of scientific research;
