The state committee of statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan and the State Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic according to the statistics which are hereinafter referred to as by the Parties

being guided by mutual interests in adjustment of cooperation in the field of development of statistics, enhancement of statinformation and strengthening of comprehensive bonds,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties shall perform within the national legal system bilateral cooperation in the area:

- exchange of methodological materials and developments on creation and functioning of systems of the statistical recording and polls, censuses and inspections;

- experience exchange concerning enhancement of statistics, the organization and implementation of system of national accounts;

- exchange of statistical editions (the annuals, collections, bulletins, messages and reviews connected with changes in economic and social situation of the states and their certain regions, legal acts);

- the joint organization of seminars and other general actions for specialists of national statistical services.

Article 2

The cooperation will be performed according to the actions plans developed on the basis of the mutual arrangement and approved by heads of both statistical offices calculated for two years which are integral part of this agreement.

Article 3

Coordination of cooperation is performed by the responsible officials designated by each of the Parties.

Article 4

Information obtained by one of the Parties in the course of cooperation can be transferred to the third party only based on written consent of the Party which provided this information. Information obtained in the course of cooperation cannot be used to the detriment of interests of the Parties.
