Based on part (2) article 8 of the Law on highways No. 509-XIII of June 22, 1995. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1995, Art. No. 62-63, 690) and parts (2) article 352 of the Tax Code No. 1163-XIII of April 24, 1997. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1997, No. 62, of the Art. 522), and also for implementation of efficient system of regulation and administrative supervision of transportations, the weight and/or the sizes of which exceed maximum permissible values, and for proper recovery of premature degradation of highways public the Government DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on approval procedure, control and implementation on public roads of transportations, the weight and/or the sizes of which exceed maximum permissible values, according to appendix No. 1.

2. Provide to the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities in 2008-2010 implementation of network of stationary scales on the international Items of transition of frontier, and also mobile scales in the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

3. To the Ministry of Finance together with the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities to determine financing sources for implementation of network of scales according to Item 2 of this resolution.

4. To provide to the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs control of execution of the Regulations on approval procedure, control and implementation on public roads of transportations, the weight and/or the sizes of which exceed maximum permissible values.
