3. Enact this Decree from the date of its signing.

Regulations on procedure for assignment by the government employee of qualification ranks

I. General provisions

1. The regulations on procedure for assignment by the government employee of qualification ranks (further - the Provision) determine the procedure for assignment, delay, preserving and other questions concerning qualification ranks of government employees.

2. Qualification ranks are appropriated taking into account the held state political and managerial positions of public service of the corresponding category.

3. Assignment of the qualification rank or industry rank which is not provided by regulatory legal acts or not corresponding to powers of state body is forbidden to the government employee.

4. For the separate types of public service following from system of public service of the Republic of Tajikistan according to regulatory legal acts military, diplomatic ranks, other ranks and special ranks, and also clothes and signs of distinction are determined.

5. Qualification ranks are appropriated for life.
