About state regulation in the field of import and export of ozone-depleting substances

According to Article 4 "The Montreal protocol on the substances destroying ozone layer" the Vienna convention "About Protection of Ozone Layer" which the Azerbaijan Republic joined I decide:

1. Determine that import of the regulated ozone-depleting substances determined "By the Montreal protocol by the substances destroying ozone layer" from the states which are not the party (participant) of this Protocol to the Azerbaijan Republic and their export from the Azerbaijan Republic to the states which are not the party (participant) of this Protocol is forbidden.

2. Item 1 of the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic "About state regulation of import and export activities in connection with ozone-depleting substances" of December 21, 2001 No. 608 (The collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2001, No. 12, Article 754; 2003, No. 10, Article 585) to consider invalid.

3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic:

3.1. in two-month time to prepare and approve the list of the regulated ozone-depleting substances determined "By the Montreal protocol by the substances destroying ozone layer" with indication of their codes and names according to the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity;

3.2. together with the relevant state bodies to perform the necessary measures providing execution of state regulation in the field of import and export of ozone-depleting substances;

3.3. resolve other issues following from this Decree.

4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of publication.
