agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties encourage cooperation in the field of culture, science and education according to the provisions enshrined in this agreement.

Article 2

Each of the Parties provides to the citizens broad access to culture, art, literature and seal of other Party and supports the state, public and individual initiatives in these directions.

Article 3

The parties encourage contacts at the state, regional and local levels between cultural and educational institutions of both Parties, and also exchange of specialists.

Article 4

The parties support cooperation and exchange in the fields of education and sciences, create suitable conditions for contacts between academies of Sciences, the highest and average educational institutions and other educational and scientific institutions on the basis of direct agreements on cooperation.

Article 5

Each of the Parties promotes studying of history, literature and culture of other Party in the educational institutions and scientific institutions.

Article 6

The parties will carry out necessary work for settlement, the education documents connected with mutual recognition, qualification, academic degrees and ranks issued by organizations of science and education of both states after January 1, 1992.
