About medical insurance in the Republic of Tajikistan
This Law determines legal, social, organizational and financial basis obligatory and voluntary medical insurance of citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
medical insurance - set of actions for social protection of the citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan providing high-quality medical and sanitary, other services and medicines;
compulsory medical insurance - the type of social insurance providing to citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan possibilities of receipt of the medical and sanitary help, providing with the drugs provided at the expense of means of compulsory medical insurance in amount and on the conditions established by programs of compulsory medical insurance;
voluntary medical insurance - the type of social insurance performed on the basis of programs of voluntary medical insurance and providing to citizens additional medical and sanitary and other services over established by programs of compulsory medical insurance;
object of compulsory medical insurance - the insurance risk (the event provided by insurance conditions) connected with costs for rendering the medical and sanitary help and providing with drugs in case of insured event;
subjects of medical insurance - the insurer, authorized body on implementation of collection of fees on obligatory or voluntary medical insurance, the insurer, insured, the supplier;
insurer - the physical person or legal entity making contribution payment on medical insurance;
authorized body on implementation of collection of fees on compulsory medical insurance - the legal entity performing collection of fees on compulsory medical insurance and transfer of compulsory, medical insurance to their Fund;
the insurer - the legal entity performing insurance activity in the field of medical insurance;
insured - person concerning whom fees on medical insurance to the insurer arrived;
