About measures for strengthening of level of social security of the population, increase in the operating official pay rates of employees of budgetary institutions, the organizations, the sizes of pensions and grants

According to Article 103 of the Labor code of the Republic of Tajikistan and for the purpose of improvement of financial position of the population, strengthening of the stimulating role of the salary and increase in level of social security of the population I decide:

1. Establish since July 1, 2008 minimum wage in all industries of economy of the republic in the amount of 60 somoni and minimum pension in the amount of 60 somoni a month.

2. Since July 1, 2008:

- establish the scheme of official pay rates to government employees of public authorities, local executive bodies of the government, the military personnel, faces of the private and the commanding structure of law-enforcement bodies and the staff of other law enforcement agencies, courts and prosecutor's offices, and also salaries on military and special ranks according to appendices No. No. 1-43;

- increase official pay rates of employees of organizations of primary health care in the amount of 70 percent and other organizations of industry of health care by 50 percent;

- increase official pay rates of workers of branches of science, social protection and culture by 50 percent;

- increase official pay rates and the tariff charges of employees of the organizations and organizations financed from the Government budget (except listed in paragraphs first, second, third Item 2 and the paragraph of the first of Item 3 of this Decree) in the amount of 40 percent;

- increase the sizes of work pensions by 40 percent from the established size of minimum pension;

- establish the maximum size of pension in the amount of 300 somoni a month.

3. Since September 1, 2008:

- increase official pay rates of workers of industry of education in the amount of 40 percent;
