expressing desire to promote expansion of friendly bonds between the people of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and to the best acquaintance with their life, history and cultural heritage,

understanding that tourism is important means of strengthening of mutual understanding, expression of good will and hardening of the relations between the people,

being guided by the commonly accepted principles and rules of international law,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties strengthen and develop cooperation in the field of tourism on the basis of equality and mutual advantage according to this agreement, national legal systems of the states of the Parties and international treaties which participants they are.

Article 2

The parties support activities of the state bodies of management of tourism in the field of establishment and development of cooperation between the tourism organizations of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan performing capital investments in the sphere of tourism and also joint venture for the purpose of servicing of tourists.

Article 3

The parties according to national legal systems of the states and on the basis of reciprocity aim at simplification of the boundary, customs and other formalities connected with tourist exchange between two states.

Article 4

The parties encourage both organized, and individual tourism, exchange of specialized groups of tourists, including for the purpose of visit of sporting events, musical, theater and folklore festivals the, and also exhibitions, symposiums and the congresses which are carried out concerning tourism on the basis of the conclusion of direct contracts between the cooperating organizations of the states of the Parties.
