According to the Constitutional laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the status of judges in the Republic of Tajikistan", "About the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan", "About economic courts of the Republic of Tajikistan" for the purpose of expansion of democratic principles on matching and placement of personnel of judges, ensuring promotion in the judge of worthy candidates and strengthening of guarantee of independence of judges is created qualification boards of judges of courts of the Republic of Tajikistan (further qualification boards of judges).

Formation of qualification boards
1. The highest qualification board of judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan and Qualification board of judges of the Supreme economic court of the Republic of Tajikistan are elected plenums according to the Supreme Court and the Supreme economic court of the Republic of Tajikistan from among judges of these courts.
2. Qualification boards of judges of courts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and areas are elected conferences of judges from among judges of city, district courts, public vessels of garrisons and the relevant superior courts.
