About approval of the Regulations on electronic money in Ukraine

According to Articles 7, of 40, of 56, 67 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", for the purpose of settlement of the activities connected with release of electronic money in Ukraine and implementation of monitoring on such activities the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on electronic money in Ukraine which are applied.

2. To departments of the National Bank of Ukraine within six months from the date of entry into force of this resolution in case of the need to prepare necessary changes for the corresponding regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine which developers are these departments.

3. To the banks performing release of electronic money in Ukraine, within six months from the date of entry into force of this resolution and according to the procedure, established by this Provision to submit to the National Bank of Ukraine for review rules of electronic payment systems, except for:

rules of National system of mass electronic payments;

release by bank of in advance paid payment cards under the agreement signed with payment institute of international payment system, registered by the National Bank of Ukraine in the procedure established by the legislation of Ukraine.

4. To the legal entities performing release of electronic money in Ukraine and not being banks to bring the activities into accord with requirements of this provision within one year from the date of entry into force of this resolution.
