For the purpose of increase in amount of gas production and gas condensate within realization of the tasks set for oil and gas complex of the country in the 21st century - the Golden Age of the Turkmen people according to the National program "The Strategy of Social and Economic Transformations in Turkmenistan for the Period till 2010", accomplishment of the Development program of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period from 2000 to 2010 and Development programs of oil and gas complex and mineral resources of Turkmenistan for 2002 approved by the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan from the 6th Makhtumkuli of 2002 No. 5671 I decide:

1. Approve the investment project "Gas Production Intensification on the Field Shatlyk" of Turkmengaz State concern (the investment project is referred to as) for total amount 43, of 66 million US dollars.

2. Permit Turkmengaz State concern to sign within implementation of the investment project the contract with Shenlinsky oil administrative bureau under the Chinese petrochemical corporation (SINOPEC) on drilling of packers from 65 gas wells of the field Shatlyk for the total amount of 22 million US dollars with payment in process of performance of works, having determined the beginning of works - month of Rukhnam 2002 and completion of works - month Baydak 2005.

3. To Turkmengaz state concern for implementation of the investment project to sign contracts:

on implementation on tender basis of equipment procurement and materials for workover and intesifikation' gas production on the amount 7, 66 million US dollars;

on production together with the foreign contractors chosen on the basis of the tender, reconstruction of booster compressor station Shatlyk with construction of the combined installation of compression and drying of gas on the amount to 14 million US dollars;
