About Chamber of Commerce and Industry
This Law determines general legal, economic and social basis of creation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Turkmenistan, establishes forms of business and the directions it activities, determines measures of the state protection and support of Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Operation of this Law does not extend to members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in case of occupation them the activities which are not connected with membership in Chamber.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the public and economic organization combining the companies, the organizations, entrepreneurs, irrespective of patterns of ownership (further members of Chamber), designed to express and protect their interests.
The name "Chamber of Commerce and Industry" and words formed on its basis and phrases can be used in the names only by the organizations created according to provisions of this Law and which are a part of the system of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
Other organizations have no right to use in the name words "chamber of commerce", "industrial chamber" or "Chamber of Commerce and Industry" and are not subject to state registration under the names including these words in any combinations.
The legislation on Chamber of Commerce and Industry consists of this Law and other legal acts of Turkmenistan.
