About improvement and rest of children

This Law determines the basic principles of state policy in the field of improvement and rest of children, power of executive bodies and local government bodies, legal, financial and organizational basis of education and activities of children's institutions of improvement and rest, the right, obligation and responsibility of all participants of process.

Section I. General provisions

Article 1. Determination of terms

1. In this Law the terms below are used in the following value:

the having a rest change - the period of stay of the child in children's institution of improvement and rest is at least 14 days;

improving change - the period of stay of the child in children's institution of improvement and rest at least 21 day during which the child receives services in improvement and rest;

profile change (tourist, sports, additional education: young biologists, mathematicians, ecologists and so forth) the period of stay of the child in children's institution of improvement and rest during which the child except services in improvement and rest receives range of services, aimed at the development of certain capability and interests;

thematic change - the improving or having a rest change during which the child except services in improvement and rest receives complex of the additional services aimed at the development of its capability and interests in the directions of out-of-school education, physical culture and sport, social resettlement, social protection and so forth according to the special program;

rest - complex of special events of social, educational, medical, hygienic, sports nature which provide the organization of leisure of children, recovery of physical and mental functions of children's organism promote development of spirituality and social activity of children who are performed in children's institution of improvement and rest during the vacationer of change;

improvement - complex of the special events of social, educational, medical, hygienic, sports nature directed to improvement and consolidation of the physical and mental state of health of children which are performed in children's institution of improvement and rest during improving change;

children's institution of improvement and rest - constantly or temporarily operating, specially organized or adapted institution intended for improvement, rest, development of children taking certain location, material and technical resources, staffing and technologies for provision of services for improvement and rest of children according to the state social standards of provision of services on improvement and rest;

the state social standards of improvement and rest of children - the social norms and standard rates established by the laws, other regulatory legal acts or their complex based on which levels of the basic state social guarantees concerning providing with necessary services in improvement and rest of children are determined;

Network of child care facilities of improvement and rest - set of the child care facilities of improvement and rest (working and the unemployed) irrespective of pattern of ownership, type and subordination;

The state register of property objects of improvement and rest of children the electronic database about the property right objects (working and the unemployed), intended for improvement and rest of children, irrespective of pattern of ownership and subordination;

the subject of managing exercising control of child care facility of improvement and rest - the legal entity, the state, utility and other company, the citizen of Ukraine, the foreigner or the stateless person who will organize and provides activities of child care facility of improvement and rest;

property objects of improvement and rest of children - complex of buildings, constructions, including engineering, other rooms, the parcels of land on which they are placed that in total provides activities of child care facility of improvement and rest up to standard;
