About increase in the sizes of pensions

For the purpose of maintenance of living standards of pensioners of the republic I decide:

1. Raise since October 1, 2008:

- basic part of the pensions granted according to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the national pension social insurance" and to establish it in the amount of 530 som;

- insurance parts of the pensions granted till October 1, 2008 according to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the national pension social insurance" - for 17 percent.

2. The amount of the compensation payments established according to the Presidential decree of the Kyrgyz Republic "About compensation payments to pensioners in connection with increase in rates for electrical energy" of June 5, 2008 No. 193, is not subject to change in connection with the recalculation of the sizes of pensions following from this Decree.

3. To social fund of the Kyrgyz Republic according to this Decree in accordance with the established procedure:

- develop and submit for consideration of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic the bill of the Kyrgyz Republic "About modification and amendments in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the budget of Social fund of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2008";

- provide timely recalculation of pensions and their payment in new sizes.

4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of signing.
