About measures for strengthening of social protection of workers of higher educational institutions

For the purpose of ensuring application of the incentive system directed to increase in professional level of workers of higher educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Republic, and strengthening of their social protection I decide:

1. Since September 15, 2008 to raise on average for 50 percent monthly official pay rates of workers of the higher educational institutions financed from the government budget.

2. Charge to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic:

2.1. approve according to Item 1 of this Order monthly official pay rates of workers of the higher educational institutions financed from the government budget and also the sizes of allowances to their official pay rates taking into account scientific and pedagogical years of service and the number of the students studying in this educational institution;

2.2. take the adequate measures connected with optimization of general academic load of the faculty of the higher educational institutions financed from the government budget;

2.3. provide reduction of the existing regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Order;

2.4. resolve other issues following from this Order.

3. This Order becomes effective from the date of its publication.
