aiming to exercise more effective customs control over movement of goods, passengers and vehicles between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan,

recognizing that timely exchange of information, and also mutual aid and cooperation of the Parties will promote enhancement of customs control,

for the purpose of implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan about cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs signed in Moscow on March 2, 1994 (further - the Agreement),

came to the following mutual understanding:

1. The parties aim to process case to that the requests concerning customs tariff and customs value according to article 6 of the Agreement, went when it is about the considerable amounts of duties, taxes and other charges.

The parties recognize that if necessary the copies of documents attached to reply to the request will be certified by the Parties as appropriate.

2. Agents of the parties intend to meet at least once a year for discussion of questions concerning implementation of the Agreement.

3. The parties consider it expedient to create the standing Russian-Uzbekistan working group on customs questions consisting of representatives of the central and regional bodies for coordination of work on implementation of the Agreement.

4. The parties can charge them to carry out to relevant organs among themselves, as required, working meetings on the current questions entering their competence.
