About liberalization of the prices

In pursuance of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of January 8, 1992 the No. UP-19 "About Measures for Liberalization of the Prices" Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. To the companies and the organizations, other legal entities located in the territory of the republic, irrespective of patterns of ownership to apply since January 10, 1992 on all industrial goods, consumer goods, works and services, except No. provided in appendices No. 1 and 2 to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of January 8, 1992 unitary enterprise-119 "About measures for liberalization of the prices", the free (market) prices and rates developing under the influence of the demand and supply.

Public procurements of agricultural products are made at free (market prices).

2. Approve limiting coefficients of price increase and rates for industrial goods, the main consumer goods and services having the important social importance on which state regulation of the prices and rates, according to appendices No. 1 and 2 is established.

3. To state economy of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the interested ministries, departments and to executive committees of regional, city and regional councils of People's Deputies:

provide in necessary cases within approved budgets of the grant for flour, bread, milk, self-produced meat, dietary fermented milk products, the cottage cheese fat-free main types of baby food, including food concentrates, sugar, the fuel realized to the population, medicines, products of medical appointment, technical means of prevention of disability and rehabilitation of disabled people, services of transport both some other socially important goods and services on which the state regulated prices and rates are applied and also to determine procedure for subsidizing from budgets of these goods and services;

determine procedure for price fixation and rates for products and the services of technological appointment and consumer goods provided in appendices No. 1 and 2 to this resolution.
