About measures for strengthening of social security of disabled people in the conditions of market economy 

In pursuance of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About social security of disabled people in the Republic of Tajikistan" and for the purpose of determination of specific measures for strengthening of social security of disabled people during transition to market economy the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Determine that to disabled people of I and II groups, and also handicapped children up to 16 years provision of medicines according to recipes of doctors is performed free of charge, and to disabled people of III group - with payment of 50 percent of their cost.

Disabled people according to medical indications are granted the right to technical and other means of rehabilitation, including cars, motor-and kreslokolyask free of charge or on favorable terms, and compensations for expenses on their maintenance according to the procedure and the sizes determined by the Ministry of Social Welfare of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Economics and finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2. Assign to the Tajik republican consolidation Tadzhikavtomotoservice the organization of capital repairs of vehicles for disabled people at service stations.

Storage of vehicles of disabled people on car parks is paid in the amount of 50 percent of the established cost.

Determine that capital repairs of the vehicles allocated by social welfare institutions to disabled people on favorable terms or free of charge are made once during 5-year term from the date of their issue at the expense of means of the government budget. At the same time the repair price shall not increase 50 percent of cost of vehicles.
