The instruction for pricing in catering establishments of all business entities of the Republic of Moldova

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. The procedure for pricing stated in this instruction extends on all business entities, irrespective of patterns of ownership.

1.2. Activities in the field of public catering are performed according to the granted state license and the certificate on assignment of category.

1.3. Depending on type, the location, degree it is material hardware and amount of the services of catering establishment of the republic provided to consumers are subdivided into five categories: luxury, the highest, first, second and third.

The characteristic of types of catering establishments on categories is approved by the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova "About approval of Rules of production organization and sales of products and services of public catering and Regulations on assignment to catering establishments of categories on the service level" of November 17, 1995 N 770.

Classification of catering establishments by categories and the main requirements imposed to them on the service level are provided in the appendices N 1 and N 2 to the above-stated order of the Government and the resolution of joint council of Department of trade of the Republic of Moldova of November 28, 1995 N 25.

1.4. Catering establishments of all natsenochny categories create free retail prices on raw materials in the same procedure, as well as retail trade enterprises.

1.5. The unrestricted size of markup on free retail prices of raw materials and products is applied to expense recovery (costs) of catering establishments for production and sales of products and ensuring the corresponding culture of servicing, and also formation of profit. The markup size as a percentage to free retail price or to the cost of raw set in case of calculation of dishes and products is determined by the director depending on the demand and supply and drawn up by the order.
