About approval of Rules of determination of the country of goods' origin

For the purpose of ensuring execution of Item 1.5 of "The actions plan on reduction of the legislation in compliance with requirements of the World Trade Organization in connection with process of the entry of the Azerbaijan Republic into the World Trade Organization", the President of the Azerbaijan Republic approved by the Order of August 2, 2006 1583, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic decides No.:

1. Approve "Rules of determination of the country of goods' origin" (are applied).

2. The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic of November 2, 2000 No. 202 "About approval of Rules of determination of the country of goods' origin" (Collection of the legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic, 2000, No. 11, Article 823) to declare invalid.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the date of signing.

Rules of determination of the country of goods' origin

1. General provisions

1.1. These rules are prepared based on provisions of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About customs tariffs", articles II of the Agreement of GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) and provisions of the Agreement on rules of origin and establish rules of determination goods origin camps.

1.2. The country of goods' origin is determined for the purpose of ensuring implementation of the customs and not customs actions including established by the legislation of other actions concerning the goods imported on customs area of the Azerbaijan Republic and exported from the specified territory.
