About accreditation of foreign journalists in the Republic of Moldova

In pursuance of provisions of the Law on seal and for the purpose of creation to foreign journalists of necessary conditions for work in the republic the Government of the Republic of Moldova DECIDES:

1. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to accredit foreign journalists in the Republic of Moldova.

2. Approve Regulations on accreditation and professional activity of foreign journalists in the Republic of Moldova according to appendix.

3. Declare invalid the Order of the Government of the Republic of Moldova N 439 of June 25, 1992. "About accreditation of foreign journalists in the Republic of Moldova".

Regulations on accreditation and professional activity of foreign journalists in the Republic of Moldova

I. General provisions

1. For the purpose of free distribution of information, stimulation of cooperation in the field of exchange of information with other states and according to the Law on seal the Republic of Moldova resolves activities of journalists, constantly or temporarily accredited under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (further - the Ministry).

2. In the Republic of Moldova access to the official information which is not representing the state or military secret is provided only to the journalists accredited under Bureau on accreditation of the Ministry.

3. The legal position of the foreign journalists accredited in the Republic of Moldova is regulated by article 8 of the Law "About Nationality of the Republic of Moldova".
