About enhancement of customs control

For the purpose of enhancement of customs control on customs border of Turkmenistan I decide:

1. Determine that customs goods inspection and other objects moved through customs border of Turkmenistan is performed jointly by bodies of the State customs of Turkmenistan and the State Border Service of Turkmenistan.

2. For the implementation of customs goods inspection and other objects moved through customs border of Turkmenistan, and also joint patrol on customs border of Turkmenistan out of the locations of customs posts to increase the number of the military personnel of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan due to reducing number of customs officers.

3. Determine that the military personnel of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan when implementing customs examination is guided by the customs legislation of Turkmenistan, and in questions of passing of military service submit to requirements of army regulations and management of the international check points of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan.

4. For ensuring customs control over observance of rules of movement through customs border of Turkmenistan of goods and other objects to confer responsibility for the correct document creation by results of customs examination on customs authorities of Turkmenistan.

5. To the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan to resolve the issues connected with financing of activities of the State customs of Turkmenistan and the State Border Service of Turkmenistan according to this resolution.

6. To the State Border Service of Turkmenistan together with the State customs of Turkmenistan to develop the Instruction about order of interaction of customs authorities and the military personnel of the State Border Service when implementing customs examination in a month.

7. In a month to provide to the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan together with the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, Lhmhqrepqrbnl of defense of Turkmenistan and the State customs of Turkmenistan to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan offers on modification in legislative and the regulations of Turkmenistan following from this resolution.
