About formation of the Agency of veterinary sanitation and safety of animal products and approval of the Regulations on it, its structure and extreme number of staff

Based on provisions of the Law on veterinary and sanitary activities N 221-XVI of October 19, 2007. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, N 51-54, Art. 153) and according to Action plan provisions on implementation and realization of the National sustainability strategy of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Moldova (2008-2015) approved by the Order of the Government N 282 of March 11, 2008. (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, N 57-60, Art. 362), for the purpose of optimization of activities of bodies with functions of control and supervision of safety of primary raw materials and animal products and health of animals the Government DECIDES:

1. Form the Agency of veterinary sanitation and safety of animal products by merge of the State inspectorate for livestock production subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture and the food industry with the state district/municipal veterinary public health services and with GP "The Public Veterinary Service on Border and Transport", being legal successors of the reorganized organizations.

2. To the Ministry of Agriculture and food industry:

a) provide according to the current legislation process of reorganization of the State inspectorate for livestock production, GP "The Public Veterinary Service on Border and Transport" and together with bodies of local public authority of the second level of the state district/municipal veterinary public health services;
