Azerbaijan thanks to the favorable environment has the sufficient potential of alternative and renewable energy. However this potential still is not used. Therefore for the purpose of ensuring creation at the expense of available in the country alternative and renewable energy resources of new energy capacities by wide use of international experience I decide:

1. Approve "The state program on use alternative and renewable energy resources in the Azerbaijan Republic" it (is applied).

2. The coordinator of the actions provided in the State program to establish the State agency on alternative and to renewable energy resources of the Azerbaijan Republic.

3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic to resolve the issues following from this Order.

4. To the state agency on alternative and to renewable energy resources of the Azerbaijan Republic to take necessary measures for ensuring execution of the State program.

5. This Order becomes effective from the date of publication.
