About further deepening of studying of level of living of the population

For the purpose of providing representativeness of statistical observations of income behavior and expenses of citizens, determination of ratios between the prices, rates and level of living of the population, studying of the consumer demand, more exact calculation of gross domestic product, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides creation of balance of production and use of agricultural products and calculation of cost of living indexes:

1. To the state committee of statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan:

- since January 1, 2009 to increase quantity of the inspected households from 925 households with monthly holding poll and to bring to 3000 households with quarter frequency;

- till December 1, 2008 to make selection of households for permanent inspection.

2. Since January 1, 2009 to establish quarter payment of means in the amount of 25 percent from minimum wage to the inspected household keeping record of the budget.

3. Due to the expansion of network of reports of statistical observations to permit the State committee of statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan to involve on contractual conditions in local authorities of statistics in number of 35 units of workers, including 27 specialists for inspection of households in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the city of Dushanbe, the cities and areas of republican subordination (at the rate of 20 inspected families on one specialist a month) and 8 units of specialists for collection and data processing of inspection of households in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, areas, the city of Dushanbe, the cities and areas of republican subordination. To the specialists occupied with inspection of households monthly in addition to pay in the amount of 10 percent of official pay rate

4. For enhancement of the statistical reporting in the non-state sector to the State statistical agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to enter position of the deputy director in limit of the number of staff.
