considering mutual economic interest,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will develop and strengthen on agreed terms cooperation in the following directions:

creation, enhancement, checking and certification of the state standards of units of sizes;

development and production of standard samples of structure and properties of substances and materials, obtaining and application of standard help data on physical constants and properties of substances and materials;

recognition of results of testing and approval like measuring instruments, results of their checking and calibration;

recognition by mutually agreed rules and procedures of certificates and marks of conformity on products and services;

development within joint programs of state standards, qualifiers of products, the unified systems of documentation.

Article 2

The parties will be:

apply if necessary state standards of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic and state standards of the Azerbaijan Republic in the territory of the Russian Federation;

provide each other the information and regulating documentation (indexes of state standards, state standards and other documents on standardization, metrology and certification) and to exchange annual work plans on standardization;

carry out preparation and advanced training of personnel on agreed terms, to create necessary conditions for exchange of specialists.
