aiming to promote accomplishment of provisions of the Final act of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the documents of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe accepted after the Meeting and concerning cooperation in the field of information and the humanitarian sphere, and also following recommendations of International union of telecommunication,
considering traditional interest of the population of the Azerbaijan Republic in programs of the Russian telebroadcasting organizations,
agreed as follows:
The parties will develop cooperation on creation of favorable legal, organizational and economic conditions for ensuring broadcasting and distribution of programs of the Russian telebroadcasting organizations in the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic for the purpose of satisfaction of cultural and information needs of citizens, further strengthening of traditional ties between two countries.
The parties agree with use of Russian in case of broadcast of programs of the Russian telebroadcasting organizations.
The Russian side will assist increase in pithiness and audiovisual attractiveness of teleradio programs, extended and unbiased interpretation in information programs of urgent problems of the Azerbaijan Republic.
